SPC2600 to become SPC2608
In the Fall, the course number for Intro to Public Speaking will change from SPC2600 to SPC2608. The statewide numbering system is requiring the change at all state universities and colleges to help streamline transfers. Students will see these changes in the Dial Center's Fall schedule on ISIS when the Spring Schedule goes live in March. If you have questions, contact the center at 392-5421.
Dial Center to offer Writing in CSD Summer A
Due to high demand, the Dial Center will offer ENC3254 - Writing for CSD Summer A. Advanced registration begins March 23. Students hoping to register should call 392-5421 or come by Rolfs 402 as early as possible when registration begins. We expect this class to fill quickly. The instructor will be Dr. Mickey Schafer and the course will be offered M-F period 2.
Dial Center seeks past SPC2600 students for speech competition
The Dial Center annouces this year's Public Speaking Forum will take place on March 23. The Speaker's Forum is a competition for past and recent SPC2600 to have a chance to present a speech in a competitive forum with a large audience. Students who are interested should contact the instructor they took SPC2600.
